Selling Artworks to or through Leslie Sacks Fine Art

Please refer to the “Complete Artist Index” and “About LSFA” on this website to determine our interest in particular artists. We may be interested in additional artists depending on their historical stature and genre. Works must be in pristine condition, preferably the rarest and most qualitative examples by these master artists. Works must not be faded, trimmed, damaged, over-restored or compromised in authenticity or signature. Works should not have recently been widely offered for sale elsewhere – we prefer artworks fresh to the market.

All Works (Please provide as much of the following information as possible)

  1. Artist’s name for each artwork
  2. If known, date of each artwork
  3. If known, the medium (e.g. oil on canvas, watercolor, pencil drawing, etc.)
  4. The size of each artwork. (If the work is matted or framed, please measure visible image size; if not matted or framed, please measure paper or canvas size. For sculpture indicate maximum height, width and depth.)
  5. A reasonably good quality overall image (digital or conventional photograph) of the front of the artwork, and close-ups of the signature and numbering if any
  6. Close-ups of all labels on the reverse of the artwork and
  7. The price or price range you are seeking for each artwork as this will save considerable time and effort for all concerned if your asking price is not, in our considered opinion, realistic.
  8. A list of all galleries, private dealers and auction houses to which you have offered the art work(s) in the past two years. If you are aware that the work(s) have ever been publicly offered for sale at auction, please inform us and, if possible, provide the name of the auction house, date of sale, and the sale and lot identification numbers

Prints

Leslie Sacks Fine Art deals only in original prints. We do not purchase or sell reproductions or posters. We are pleased to assist in the identification of original prints.
